One more tech, one invited preview, then it’s OPENING NIGHT for “Big Love” at Seton Hill University! This has been an amazing experience for me; I don’t want it to end.
I can’t think of another production of mine that changed, developed, morphed and grew with the design team in quite the same way as “Big Love”. In some ways it feels like the play itself led us to where it wanted to be! Strange, huh? Visually, the tone really nails what I saw in the beginning of the process – that never changed. But the characters and their journeys – and my perception of and sympathy for each of the characters – changed drastically.
I hope my friends in the area are able to see “Big Love”. I’m really proud of my work, and the work of the team. The production is exciting, scary, and big-time fun!
Special thanks to my awesome choreographer and photographer extraordinare Stefan Zubal for the pics!
